This watercolour incorporates a still life (the teacup) and the painting Botanicals. I used my drawing from Botanicals and traced it onto a new sheet of Arches, tracing around my line drawing of the teacup. Painted a little more vibrantly than Botanicals, I heavily saturated my brush with pigment, layered tone on tone, and used white to create highlights. I used a no. 1 brush to make sure I was able to include all the lovely details of line and colour in real life.
