My first picture book began during my stay in Newfoundland in 2012. Flanker Press contacted me to illustrate a charming verse book depicting animals found in Newfoundland. Each spread reflects a typical outport landscape featuring a mother animal and her babies, from moose to puffins to beavers, foxes and seals.
