The Backyard Bird Collection is an appreciation and fascination for the birds that live alongside us and bring us so much joy if we stop to listen and observe. It is an appreciation for the diversity in their species, in their many colours and songs and for the natural environment that we share. I’m interested in the intricacies in colour and pattern of their feathers, which are shown here in the highly-detailed watercolour motifs.
