Watershed Magazine contacted me to illustrate a page for the article Where the Long Grasses Wave. Right up my alley, the article is full of bird, botanical and insect imagery. Each motif was separately sketched, watercoloured, scanned and put together digitally to create a “collaged” and layered effect to highlight the thriving ecosystem in the long grass prairies.
